    The purpose of this position is to to provide safe and reliable transportation for people with disabilities. As a bus driver you will operate a 15-passenger lift vehicle and will follow all safety laws and practices while ensuring safe ridership for persons served.

    • Provide safe and reliable transportation for the people we serve to and from home and work sites on morning and afternoon routes in Rise vans and buses.
    • Complete all required maintenance forms
    • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor basic vehicle systems

    Qualifications & Benefits


    • A valid driver’s license and compliance with Rule 11 and MVR background check required
    • Drivers must be willing to drive a 15-passenger bus with lift.
    • Reliable, dependable and self-directed worker
    • Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse population
    • Ability to work under pressure and react quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
    • Drivers must be willing to drive in inclement weather conditions
    • Prior tie down experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. 
    • Must be available to work on short notice


    Wage: $14.25 per hour, no evenings or weekends


    Time Commitment:
    40 hours per week, split shift


    *Hiring bonus is paid in three installments of $250 at one month, six months, nine months and twelve months after hire.
