    The purpose of this position is to provide individualized on the job training and job retention support to people in community jobs with developmental disabilities who are deaf/hard of hearing or deaf/blind.

    Support individuals in competitive employment by providing follow up support services:

    • Schedule regular check in meetings with employers and individuals to enhance job retention and stabilization. 
    • Provide individualized on the job coaching and training as needed.
    • Provides an open channel of communication with the employer, team members, and Employment Consultant in regards to progress and performance.
    • Monitors employment status of employees through job follow-up services.
    • Ability to adapt to various work environments involving a variety of tasks, duties and employer/ employee relationships.
    • Provide case management services as needed

    Qualifications & Benefits



    • Positive and dependable person with good time management skills
    • Flexible with schedule. May include weekends
    • 1-2 years work experience preferred
    • Must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
    • A valid driver’s license and compliance with Rule 11 and MVR background check required.
    • Access to reliable transportation
