    The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support at Rise’s headquarters in Spring Lake Park. In this role, you will be managing incoming calls and greeting guests upon entrance to the building. As the initial point of contact to Rise, this position is key to the organization and interfaces with staff, members of the community, and persons served and their families. A friendly demeanor, patience, strong communication and attention to detail are key to being successful in this role.

    • Manage incoming phone calls, transferring calls and greeting guests upon entrance to the building
    • Disseminate general information about Rise programs and services to callers and visitors.
    • Handle petty cash and performs basic bookkeeping duties
    • Assist persons served with concerns and transportation issues as needed and refer to proper Rise staff
    • Mail sorting and delivery interoffice, run postage 
    • Filing as needed

    Qualifications & Benefits


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ideally with preference to Office 365
    • Effective multi-tasker in busy environments
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Maintain confidentiality 
    • Friendly demeanor
    • Ability to sit and use a computer for up to 8 hours/day
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to engage a diverse population and react in a positive way to unpredictable situations
    • Pass a DHS background check with fingerprinting
