    The purpose of this position is to assist people living with disabilities to find jobs in the north metro area.

    • Provide individualized employment support services and coordination for people served by the Rise Coon Rapids program.  Services include helping people prepare resumes, cover letters, develop interviewing skills, employment goals & plans, transportation and benefits plans, and job searching
    • Actively engage with each person served by utilizing company provided trainings that equip staff with Person-Centered tools and Motivational Interviewing skills
    • Cultivate job opportunities with businesses and other employers in the community 
    • Equip and empower people that have secured new jobs to be successful in their positions by providing support as needed during their new employer's onboarding and staff training processes
    • Communicate effectively with each person's team members, social worker, business contacts, hiring managers, coworkers, and referrals sources
    • Advocate on behalf of individual with employer regarding job accommodations
    • Responsible for serving a caseload of people which includes tracking, documenting, and billing, and maintaining files in accordance with CARF and 245D standards

    Qualifications & Benefits


    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
    • Ability to use electronic devices for on and offsite organization (ie: laptop computer, smartphone Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, calendar, email, etc.)
    • One year of experience providing job placement and job development services is preferred
    • Knowledge and/or experience working with adults living with disabilities
    • Excellent writing and organizational skills 


    Starting wage $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

    Medical- 90% of employee coverage premium paid by Rise. Dental. 4% matched 401(k). Life Insurance. FSA. PTO starts at 16 days a year, plus 2 float and 8 paid holidays.
