The purpose of this Direct Support Professional position (DSP) is to work directly with people with disabilities in a community integrated setting so they can live a life filled with purpose. Rise’s Adult Day Programs (ADP) are designed to support adults, ages 18 through retirement, who have a disability and no longer wish to work. People in our program benefit from and enjoy participating in day activities, creating friendships, and developing new opportunities for personal growth. Our DSPs work to support individuals in our programs with customized support plans that are designed to meet their specific needs and interests. Examples of Adult Day Program activities include: art therapy, music therapy, cooking, social activities (potlucks, etc), learning activities including reading and discussion groups, community activities and special events

Wage: $12.75 per hour, no evenings or weekends
Medical- 90% of employee coverage premium paid by Rise. Dental. 4% matched 401(k). Life Insurance. FSA. PTO starts at 16 days a year, plus 2 float and 8 paid holidays.
*Hiring bonus is paid in three installments of $250 at one month, six months, and nine months after hire.
