    Our direct support professionals (DSPs) advance the work and social skills of people with traumatic brain injuries/intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for providing coverage at various supported employment sites at Rise business patners in Anoka, Hennepin and Sherburne counties.

    This position is responsible for providing coverage at various supported employment sites at Rise business partners in Anoka county. This position will have a weekly work schedule set by the supervisor. 

    • Direct support professionals (DSPs) support teams of people with disabilities at community worksites. 
    • Provide supervision and training for people supported on jobs and work skills through coaching, postivie reinforcement and personal example.
    • Maintain quality and production levels requried by business partners
    • Daily documentation on outcomes and progress of people served with contact notes and entering of payroll into Care Director
    • Sets up and runs all jobs assigned to community work crew.
    • Maintains communication with designated contact person at each community work site.
    • Maintains high level of flexibility and availability during work week. 

    Qualifications & Benefits


    • Degree in human service field preferred
    • Previous experience working with people with traumatic brain injuries, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and in production preferred
    • Able to work 35 hours a week with flexible schedule between 5am -4pm.
    • Valid drivers license and compliance with Rule 11 and MVR background check required
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds daily
    • Relevant experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right person!


    Wage: $14 per hour, no evenings or weekends 

    Medical- 90% of employee coverage premium paid by Rise. Dental. 4% matched 401(k). Life Insurance. FSA. PTO starts at 16 days a year, plus 2 float and 8 paid holidays.
