    Our direct support professionals (DSPs) advance the work and social skills of people with traumatic brain injuries/intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for supporting a team of people served at a supported employment site at one of Rise’s business partners

    Responsibilities

    This DSP position is responsible for supporting a team of people served at one of Rise's supported employment sites.

    • Direct support professionals (DSPs) work alongside people with disabilities on a production floor
    • Provide supervision and training for people supported on jobs and work skills through coaching, positive reinforcement and personal example.
    • Maintain quality and production levels required by business partners
    • Act as point of contact for business partners and be a professional representative of Rise 
    • Continually inspire personal growth in the people you support by establishing and achieving personal goals and implementing person-centered practices

    • Daily documentation on outcomes and progress of people served with contact notes and entering of payroll into Care Director 

    Qualifications & Benefits

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in human service field and previous experience working with people with traumatic brain injuries/intellectual and developmental disabilities and in production preferred.
    • Valid drivers license and compliance with Rule 11 and MVR background check required
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds daily
    • Relevant experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right person!

    Benefits:

    Wage: $14.00 per hour- no evenings or weekends

    Medical- 90% of employee coverage premium paid by Rise. Dental. 4% matched 401(k). Life Insurance. FSA. PTO starts at 16 days a year, plus 2 float and 8 paid holidays.
