The purpose of the position is to develop essential training for team members on assistive technology and communication devices so they can best support the people we serve using these devices.
Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program
Competencies or previous experience in with assistive technology and communication devices
Passion and aptitude for working with adults with disabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,Windows 10 and internet applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability
Strong team player with high energy, drive and a positive attitude
A self starter who is comfortable addressing challenges with critical thinking skills and patience
Compliance with DHS background check and fingerprinting
Gain hands on experience working with individuals using assistive technology and communication devices
Advance the work and life skills of people with disabilities using assistive technology
Participate in industry leading services to people with disabilities
Broaden your professional network
$500 stipend depending on commitment and qualifications
